Welcome to KhudeBarta, a bulk SMS platform operated by Softifybd Limited. By using our dashboard, API, or web portal, you agree to follow the terms mentioned here. Please read them carefully. Violating these terms may result in suspension or permanent closure of your account, without refund.

1. Account Usage

Your account is your responsibility. Any SMS sent from your account — whether compliant or not — will be considered your action. Never share your login credentials with others.

You may only use KhudeBarta for legal, business, and promotional communication, such as transactional alerts, OTPs, marketing messages, and service updates.

Use of this platform for personal or harmful purposes is strictly prohibited. This includes:

  • Threats, harassment, or abuse
  • Adult content or vulgar language
  • Political, religious, or hate-based messaging

If misuse is detected, your account may be suspended or terminated without notice. Legal action (including portal blocking) may be taken in extreme cases.

2. Prohibited SMS Types

The following types of SMS are not allowed:

  • Threats, abuse, or vulgar/offensive language
  • Political or anti-government content
  • Hate speech or religious attacks
  • Adult content or product promotions
  • Lottery, fraud, or scam messages
  • Any message deemed illegal by the Government of Bangladesh or BTRC
  • Betting or gambling-related messages (online/offline)

If such content is found, your account may be closed permanently and legal action may be taken without prior notice.

3. SMS Format and Language (BTRC Rule)

As per BTRC Circular No. 14.32.0000.600.43.008.21.492:

  • All promotional or alert SMS must be written in Bangla
  • OTPs, mobile numbers, digits, and URLs may be in English
  • Every message must begin with your sender ID or brand name

Example: KhudeBarta > আপনার কাড ৫৬৭৮৯

Character Count Rules:

  • 70 Bangla characters = 1 SMS
  • 160 English characters = 1 SMS

If you exceed this limit, multiple SMS charges will apply. Sending English promotional messages without BTRC approval may result in suspension.

Note: KhudeBarta is not responsible for failed deliveries caused by BTRC non-compliance.

4. Payment & Recharge

KhudeBarta operates on a prepaid model — you must recharge before sending messages.

We accept payment via:

  • bKash (Merchant)
  • Nagad
  • Bank Transfer

Important:

  • SMS pricing includes VAT and MNP Dipping Charge
  • Dipping charge: ৳0.05 to ৳0.06 per SMS (as per MNO rules)
  • Pricing packages may change without prior notice
  • If your balance is low, SMS will not be sent

5. SMS Delivery & Delays

SMS messages are usually delivered instantly, but delays can occur due to:

  • Network traffic congestion or poor mobile signal
  • High campaign volume during peak hours
  • Temporary server downtime or maintenance
  • BTRC filtering policies and compliance checks
  • Phone-specific issues (e.g., powered off, inbox full, SIM/card errors)

User-installed apps (e.g., Truecaller, SMS Blocker) may:

  1. Block certain keywords, numbers, or URLs
  2. Restrict messages from unknown senders
  3. Use AI or ML to auto-filter messages

Operator-side issues may include MNP delays, route failures, or queue overflow.

Important: KhudeBarta cannot guarantee 100% SMS delivery and is not liable for delays, blocks, or failures caused by operators, devices, or filters.

6. Account Suspension

Your account may be suspended or terminated without notice if:

  • You violate BTRC or Bangladeshi national regulations
  • You send harmful, restricted, or personal content
  • You submit fake identity, trade license, or documents
  • You repeatedly send rejected SMS templates
  • You misuse the platform for fraud, spam, or harassment

No refunds will be provided for suspended or terminated accounts.

7. Refund Policy

Refunds are not guaranteed once SMS credits are purchased. However:

  • If technical failure on our end prevents SMS delivery (not caused by BTRC or user error), you may request support within 48 hours
  • Unused balances are non-refundable but may carry over in promotional cases

Refunds do not apply to:

  • Messages rejected due to BTRC rules
  • Failed deliveries due to network/operator issues
  • Expired balances
